On behalf of Yass Rotary, President Mick Newling and Mandy Carter had the pleasure of handing over a cheque to the Rae Burgess Centre today.
The Anglicare Rae Burgess Centre continues to support local and regional individuals and families in need, although they are a government funded initiative, donations from organisations like Yass Rotary enable the centre to offer extra services to those families. They are currently putting together winter warmer packages, laden with hot chocolates, fresh milk, biscuits, beautiful warm cosy socks and gloves- all little luxuries that some of us take for granted. This centre continues to look after in excess of 600 people that have found themselves in need of assistance.
Yass Rotary acknowledges the importance of this centre to the community and has a healthy history of continuous support and today is no exception.
